" Update on the Sizewell C Project"

The Design Consent Order for the building of Sizewell C Power Station
has been approved by the Secretary of State - this project,
13 years in the making, is now very likely to happen with associated developments
such as road developments, a rail extension into site and the building of off-shore
unloading facilities, if a Final Investment Decision is achieved, to commence in 2023.
Miles will give an update on the Project along with insights into the health and safety culture that will be applied across all aspects of the build.

"Breakfast Meeting"
We are pleased to say that the first meeting of the Group, for some time, will take place on Thursday, 24th February 2022 at the Hotel Victoria, Kirkley Cliff, Lowestoft. Breakfast will be at 8.00 a.m.
There will be no speaker /presentation at this meeting as the Committee felt it would be nice just to catch up, see how members have managed during the Pandemic, and just to re-connect as a Group.
We will have a quick AGM as clearly the Committee needs to be elected. We would also like your thoughts on topics/speakers for this coming year.
We look forward to welcoming you back and hope that as many of you as possible are able to make it. If you are able to do a flow test the day before this would be appreciated.
